This can result in incorrect functionality in whatever application is running when the disconnect happens.
In one application I know this causes a crash. In another, it causes incorrect functionality.
FixWiFi is a new control panel (go to the Prefs application to start it) that unofficially fixes this problem.
Note: The developer is not affiliated with Palm.
Full source code (public domain!) is included.

this is a prc in a zip file. most modern OS support zip files, otherwise use 7zip or any other application.

Needed to do an extended hard reset after I installed this one. An Hard reset was not enough. All applications using wifi were hanging, even without internet access.

Thanks a lot!. It worked rename it the file to *.zip and then, open it with 7-ZIP. Winzip doesn't work, you need 7ZIP (http://7-zip.uptodown.com/descargar/) spanish version.

Installed on all 4 of my PDAs on four different computers, ahhh didnt do anything for the WIFI and I had to do a soft reset on each one and lost everything on all 4 pdas. eeeek.....its a wifi virus
