What it recently does is query GPS about your current location and then tells GMM to show that position on the map, giving you a taste of real GPS based navigation software....
Update Description:
- Where Am I? was behaving incorrectly on devices that come with Google Maps Mobile preinstalled in ROM (mostly Treo 755p, Centro CDMA Sprint etc.). Palm OS allows you to "override" ROM application by installing its newer version in RAM which shall be called now instead of ROM one. Unfortunately Where Am I? was not working that way and kept calling ROM GMM no matter of update present in RAM. Version 1.10 addresses this problem.

Its not all that great.... Seriously. the Palm Centro has a standard App (GoogleMaps). This site sucks ass. half the Apps/Games you can't even download them to your Palm Centro... all it gives is another useless website...
